You’ve seen signs with Ron Paul 2008 written on them. Perhaps someone has mentioned to you “Look up Ron Paul on the Internet”. Perhaps you’ve seen a Presidential debate and want to make up your own mind about the candidates. Regardless of why you are here — Welcome!
Ron Paul represents the best chance to restore constitutional government to DC, to ensure a prosperous future for ourselves and our children, to stop the expensive folly of being the world’s unelected unwanted policeman, and to provide Colorado with the freedom and power to create our own future.
We created RonPaulcolorado.org for two reasons:
- To inform Colorado about Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul.
- To provide a way for each of us who support him to turn that support into effective action.
The best place to start is the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign.
IMPORTANT EDIT: We are now in final stage. If you haven’t yet done this, it is time to call people in your precinct, identify Ron Paul supporters, and get them to attend the caucus on Tuesday Feb 5 2008. Become a precinct leader.
All caucuses start promptly at 7:00 pm and will last for 1-2 hours. Be there by 6:45 pm. Here are the precinct locations for the GOP caucuses statewide. Confirm this location from your county GOP party’s website.
ALL Ron Paul Republicans (and even those who may want to remain uncommitted but who are advocates of smaller government, individual liberty, the Constitution, and/or non-interventionist foreign policy) should attend. Only registered Republicans may attend. If you are not a Republican but still want to help; then sign up as a precinct leader and start calling Republicans in your precinct and get Ron Paul supporters information on the caucus location. Try to get one of them to become a precinct leader and run for delegate at the caucus.
Make sure you are eligible to vote in the caucus. Tell a friend. Brainstorm ideas with other grassroots folks around the state. Learn about the caucus and how we will win Colorado for Ron Paul. Keep updated on site changes through RSS subscription. Suggest ideas and offer help.
And my new social mapping/networking service is now up in ugly launch mode - http://goprising.com/ft/campaigns/newGOP/
What it does is present a visual way of seeing how the call to action - become a Ron Paul Republican by changing your party affiliation - can spread if we each take a small step. Tell our friends and family that we have done so - and ask them to do so too. This can SHOW a bandwagon building. While we may think that issues are the only thing that matter to voters, the reality is that many voters just need to know that they are not alone and they are not going to waste their vote. I think it’s kinda neat. And if you have graphics/design skills it could become REALLY neat.
This election is the most important of our generation. Let it not be said that we had a chance and did nothing. We can take back our country. Get involved.

Site looks good. I suggest highest priority item should be instructions including how the caucus system works, deadline for registering Republican, how to contact precinct committeepeople, etc. Most young people know nothing of any of this, and need to be informed!!

An RSS subscription feed (link in post above) is a way for this website to update your browser. You can periodically check your browser when you go online and see whether there is anything new here rather than trying to keep track of it separately . To find out your browser handles RSS feeds, use your browsers help tab.

I agree with PatD; the most important thing we have to think about is getting people informed about the caucus and deadlines. After all, if people are excited and think that Ron Paul is the best candidate it is an entirely different thing than if people are excited and willing/able to participate in the caucus on his behalf.

Yes, I agree PatD is correct. The sooner we mobilize on this, the better chance we have of getting/finding caucus members that will represent Ron Paul. The biggest weapon we have on our side is the truth. Waking people up with the truth will causes them to side with Ron Paul. This is my speciality and I am willing to help in this regard. I believe there are certain videos and articles that every caucus member should watch and read respectively.

Awesome man…I agree that what is most important is for people to know when and where to vote for the Caucus. May I suggest making the register to vote link big and fat?
p.s. you can add a link to my page as well.

I went to the Denver county site and its barebones. but they had this one article, like a warning to those that would challenge the status quo:

Poll Shows Voters “Leery” of Sweeping Changes | Print |
Poll: Voters leery of sweeping change
By Karen E. Crummy
The Denver Post
Colorado political contenders on both sides of the aisle beware: Voters are cautious and looking for security and stability, not sweeping change and innovative fixes, according to a statewide poll released today by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Cost concerns surrounding health care, as well as economic anxieties, top the list of concerns voiced by state voters. Those pocketbook worries and lack of consumer confidence show voters are hesitant about change.
“While they care about clear substantive points like health care,” said Republican consultant David Hill, who conducted the poll, “the bigger issue is that people are not in the mood to move into a new direction.
“They aren’t buying or selling. They’re holding.”

Please come to any of John Wren’s Meetups in Denver to learn and ask about the caucus system. Also, you may contact me directly. Please organize with your local group to canvas and be effective at finding support. If your local groups wants a free presentation on the caucus system, how the party works and how to canvass effectively for support, let me know. I travel far and wide for paul.

Has anyone heard about the personal letter writing campaign to contact Iowa GOP members to support Dr. Paul?

I am determined to change things in Manhattan by moving there, creating some important innovation (TV show hopefully) then open doors to RP supporters. Form a club like the crooked people have and we all benefit. I really am passionate about this also. please help me if this makes sense to unite us. ( “UNITE THE KLANS” - braveheart like the brave rp supporters. You would also think that chicks should dig us.
